We are seeking friendly and outgoing cashiers to join our team at Lilly’s Pizza restaurant. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, an ability to multitask, a keen eye for detail, and a smile that can light up a room. As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, managing the cash register, running orders out to guests in the dining areas, and ensuring customers have a positive experience at our restaurant.

Pay & Perks

• Pay starts at $12/hour plus tips, but is commensurate with experience
• Employees receive up to a 50% discount on food items
• Lilly’s branded apparel, including a cap, two shirts, and an apron are provided

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant and warmly welcome them.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register or other payment methods.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment types, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about our menu items, pricing, and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing the cash register and counting the day’s receipts.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience at our restaurant by providing excellent customer service.
• Upsell menu items to customers and encourage them to join our loyalty program.
• Other duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Strong math and computation skills
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle cash and other payment types with accuracy.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 20 lbs.
